The offered OAL (Harridge) baseball can be viewed as a singular gathering of baseball's finest. Its unusual trio of blue ink, fountain tip pennings includes Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Walter Johnson; the medium hails from the early portion of Harridge's presidency. It was, perhaps on a summer day in 1932 at Yankee Stadium or Griffith Stadium, that the offered keepsake was presented to and appropriately signed by the uppermost echelon of baseball's hierarchy. Deeply and distinctively toned, the sphere has retained prominent stampings and vibrant, red-and-blue alternating laces. Johnson has assumed occupancy of the sweet spot, where his scripting projects "5-6" strength. Ruth and Gehrig claimed the north panel, against which Ruth's signature reflects "8" quality and Gehrig's minimally projects "7" strength and clarity. LOA from PSA/DNA.
