Presented is a 96-card complete set of R320 Goudey baseball cards from 1934 plus a wrapper. Goudey had a tough act to followup the firm's 1933 card release, but pulled it off with style! After the "splash" occasioned by the company's incomparable 1933 Big League Chewing Gum production—a positive impact still felt in the hobby today, more than seventy years later—the momentum for success was obviously in place, but execution was certain to be a challenge. The 1934 Goudey series features a comprehensive lineup of the period's stars—hardly missing a beat in the absence of Babe Ruth—beginning with the set's first card portrayal of Jimmy Foxx. In addition to its undeniably elite player roster, '34's gallery emits spectacular visual appeal. Its depictions are bursting with color; the illustrations showcase a gallery of attractive poses distinguished by full-length "action" shots interspersed among its glorious portraits. In total, 15 cards have been graded or assessed by SGC. Includes: Graded Cards - Graded SGC 84 NM 7: 4 cards w/#'s 31, 74, 88 and 92; SGC 80 EX/NM 6: 1 card, #10 KleinSGC 60 EX 5: 3 cards w/#'s 19 Grove, 62 Greenberg and 77; SGC 55 VG/EX+ 4.5: 1 card, #84; SGC 50 VG/EX 4: 1 card, #90 Cuyler; SGC 45 VG+ 3.5: 2 cards w/#'s 6 Dean and 37 Gehrig; SGC 40 VG 3: 1 card, #11 P.
