These 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" metallic cards replicate the Hall of Fame plaques of individual Canton enshrinees. Just 2,000 copies were created for each player and—largely because of the items’ popularity among autograph seekers—it’s estimated that fewer than 150 complete sets still exist. The cards display generally NM/MT to MT condition. A specially made and embossed, leather-covered binder to house the cards accompanies. This binder was created in 1997 when the overall issue stood at 181 cards. With each passing year, more "sets" are produced with that year's new HOF members. Since 1997, 17 more classes have been announced and 17 more "sets" have been created. This run is missing only four of those individual years, 1998, 2001, 2003 and 2007, meaning a total of 17 cards can be added to make this complete. Since 1997, 13 of the sets have been acquired and are still almost entirely inside their original mailers from the manufacturer totaling an additional 73 cards. These are made out of razor-sharp metal and have been well cared for so of course they are in stellar condition throughout. There is even a Letter of Authenticity from the Pro Football Hall of Fame identifying the original owner as such.
