Founded in 1989 as part of the Major Indoor Soccer League, the Cleveland Crunch joined the National Professional Soccer League in 1992 and became the NPSL's most dominant team for the next decade thanks to the "Dynamic Duo" of forwards Zoran Karic and Hector Marinaro, plus defender Tim Tyma and goalie Otto Orf. This hefty 10K-gold, size 10-3/4 ring was awarded to none other than Karic—a Yugoslavia-born forward who had already won two MISL championships and the 1988 MISL ROY by the time he arrived in Cleveland in 1990. Four years later, he led the Crunch to their first of three NPSL championships in the 1990s as well as captured MVP honors. Crowned by a 30-point diamond, Karic's ring hails from the third Crunch championship of his illustrious 17-year indoor soccer career, and it celebrates Cleveland's "Decade of Dominance" with an attractive 10th-anniversary design. NM condition. A 2011 purchase LOA accompanies.
