In the tobacco-pack realm, this is the archetype, the epitome of the form. Presented is a Minty, fresh-as-the-day-it-was-produced package of Sweet Caporal Mild & Extra Fine, perfectly sealed in its original wax wrapper. The item's design is an enhancement to any period display, as its graphics are essentially the same as those seen in the packs that delivered bird, fish, flag or baseball player insert cards to eager collectors. Dimensions of the 10-cigarette pack are 2-7/8" x 1-5/8" x 5/8".

Please Note: This description has been modified from the originally published, printed-catalog version. On the basis of the pack's tax stamp, it can reasonably be speculated that its era of manufacture was between 1918 and 1925, a few years past the distribution window of pre-war insert cards. Thus, although undeniably an attractive and scarce unopened piece, it is doubtful that the offered pack contains a trading card.
