Annually issued to participants in the game's most hallowed event, the Hillerich & Bradsby World Series Black Bat showcases the facsimile signatures (for those under contract with the Kentucky-based bat giant) or block-letter names of the pennant winner's players, coaches, and team personnel. Here offered are two examples of this coveted October prize. These 35" display keepsakes each feature a smooth, dark-brown or black finish that is accented throughout by green- or gold-colored stampings that list the team's heroic principals. Includes:

1949 New York Yankees - "WORLD CHAMPIONS," names highlighted by DiMaggio, Rizzuto, Dickey, Stengel and Mize, EX/MT w/a few small surface abrasions;

1952 Brooklyn Dodgers - "NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS," names highlighted by Campanella, Robinson, Reese, Snider, about EX w/surface abrasions and a light scrape on the handle.
