The 1933 World Series featured the New York Giants and the Washington Senators, with the Giants prevailing in five games behind the stellar pitching of Carl "King" Hubbell and Hal "Prince" Schumacher. Interestingly, both teams had future Hall of Famers Joe Cronin and Bill Terry in their starting lineups as player/managers for their respective teams. (Cronin as a result of Walter Johnson's retirement in 1932, and Terry due to the failing health of the legendary John McGraw.) The Giants starters also included Mel Ott and Travis Jackson, while the Senators fielded Goose Goslin and Heinie Manush. Solid EX/MT condition.
