Offered is a circa 1940s original 7-1/2" x 9-3/4" PSA DNA Certified Type I George Burke photograph of the Commissioner of Baseball, Ford Frick. Photograph is encapsulated with reverse showing studio and The Sporting News stamps with The Sporting News Archive hologram also attached.

Type 1 – A first-generation photograph, developed from the original negative during the period (approximately two years) when the picture was taken. Type 1s, because of their vintage and originality, are the most desirable and valuable of the four photograph types.
