Offered is a 1971 original 8" x 10" PSA DNA Certified Type I photograph by Louis Requena of San Francisco's Juan Marichal. Reverse shows photographer's stamp and The Sporting News hologram with colored pencil notations.
Type 1 – A first-generation photograph, developed from the original negative during the period (approximately two years) when the picture was taken. Type 1s, because of their vintage and originality, are the most desirable and valuable of the four photograph types.
