Quite requisite to any of a variety of specialized collections, these three pins celebrate the prominence of the great Joe DiMaggio. All three, of course, are original and all centrally feature photo renderings of the Clipper. Detailed, these include: 1) 1939 Tip-Top Bread – 1-1/4” celluloid (issued as a product premium with like pins of Eddie Shore and Billy Conn); NM/MT. 2) 1950 Buitoni Macaroni – “Joe DiMaggio TV Club”; 1-1/2” litho (portrait); very light scratch, EX. 3) 1950 Buitoni Macaroni – “Joe DiMaggio Club”; 1-1/2” litho (with bat); minorly imperfect imagery, VG/EX. The Buitoni pins – both highly sensitive lithos – relate to DiMaggio's brief foray in Saturday-morning television in 1950. Neither of the Buitoni pins are readily available, but the rendering 'with bat' is particularly elusive.
