1910s Baseball-Themed Postcards Collection (40 Different)

An extremely appealing group of scarcities produced circa 1910, most of which measure about 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and feature sepia-toned photo illustrations of models in comedic baseball roles. The cards picture various male and female "ballplayers" posing in on- or off-field depictions with such titles as "A Double Steal," "A One Handed Catch," and "A Close Decision." A few showcase comical line-drawing characters, again in baseball situations. The cards bear standard postcard indicia on their backs (a number are stamped and have been postally used); generally GD in appearance.
