These three early series, white-based bobbin' head baseball dolls are designated as ranging from "scarce" to "extremely difficult" by Tim Hunter, author of the Bobbin' Head Guide. White base figures like these are generally the most valuable version if the figure was ever produced in that variation. All three exhibit some light suface dirt and yellowing of their decals, but none are chipped or cracked. The three included in the lot are Chicago White Sox (NM, rare "Happy Hair" version with bat); Minnesota Twins (EX-NM, extremely difficult, with ball version); Detroit (EX, scarce "Tiger Head" version with bat). The Detroit doll has some paint flaking beginning between the character's feet, and the Twins decal has a tiny fleck of color missing from the "n," along with some yellowing to the top of the base that may or may not clean off. Other than those few listed flaws, these early nodders are exceptionally sharp, and they are all from the most desirable series for the majority of Bobbin' Head collectors.
