Goose Goslin was one of the top hitters of his era, batting over .300 on 11 separate occasions and finishing his career with a .318 lifetime average. While never known as a power hitter, Goslin was an efficient run producer, driving in 100 or more runs in 12 of his 18 seasons. Presented is a scarce 35-3/4", 40-oz. game bat used by the Hall of Fame great during his tenure with the Senators in the 1920's. The signature-model bat (pre-dating model numbers) is composed of top-quality white ash and features deep manufacturer's stampings throughout. The bat is uncracked and displays moderate use overall including grain swelling along the barrel. Graded A7 by SCD Authentic. LOA from Dan Knoll & Dave Bushing/SCD Authentic.
