Dating from the season of their fourth consecutive World Championship, this creamy-toned OAL (Harridge) ball has been signed in either blue or black ink by the following 26 members of the 1952 New York Yankees: Babe, Bauer, Berra, Blackwell, Brideweser, Collins, Gorman, Houk, Kuzava, Lopat, Mantle, Martin, McDonald, McDougald, Miller, Mize (ss), Noren, Ostrowski, Raschi, Reynolds (ss), Rizzuto, Sain, Scarborough, Silvera, Stengel (clubhouse, Mgr) and Woodling. Signatures are all fairly uniform in grade, averaging "8-9". This ball most likely originated from the personal collection of Jim McDonald, as his uniform number, "19," appears in blue ink on a side panel. LOA from James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA.
