Each alluring piece has been graded and encapsulated by PSA. Offered is the full set of 60 pinbacked, individual-player buttons produced by Topps in 1956. The colorful array of 1-1/8"-diameter collectibles sparkles with nostalgic flavor—and incorporates plenty of the period's star-power! This spectacular representation of the issue has had its extraordinarily fine level of preservation validated under the auspices of the hobby's most respected grading service: by virtue of its holdered pins depicting Phil Rizzuto and Hector Lopez (the lone graded examples in the hobby) this set, based upon the release's census at the time of this writing, is the only possible, completely PSA-graded assembly on the face of the earth. Most of its subjects occupy the highest grading tiers known for their subjects, an aspect that compounds the set's superiority even further. Includes: Graded PSA NM-MT 8: 14 pins w/Banks, Berra, Boyer, Conley, Diering (Scarce), Finigan, Haddix, Lopez (Scarce), McMillan, O'Brien, Paula, Power, Rosen and Spooner; PSA NM 7: 38 pins w/Aaron, Amoros, Arroyo, Black, Boone, Collins, Donovan, Fowler, Gomez, Groat, Harshman, Hatton, Hegan, Hodges, House, Jensen, Kaline, Kennedy, Kluszewski, Mathews, Mays, Miranda, Moon, Negray, Rivera, Sievers, Skowron, A. Smith, H. Smith, M. Smith, Snider, Spahn, Stobbs (Scarce), Sullivan, Tremel, Wehmeier, Williams and Zernial; PSA EX-MT 6: 6 pins w/Hofman, Long, Mossi, Robinson, Rizzuto and Triandos; PSA EX 5: 2 pins w/Sauer and Turley. Accompanying this elite set is an example of an original 1956 Topps Pins 5¢ box, an eye-catching memorabilia piece depicting slugger Ted Williams. The 2-3/4" x 2" x 3/8" box exhibits attractive NM condition, and acts as a fabulous, special enhancement to an irresistible 1950's Topps production.
