October 24, 1926 Duluth Eskimos at Chicago Bears Football Program

Twenty-two page program/scorecard from the October 24, 1926 football game between the Duluth Eskimos and the Chicago Bears held at Cubs Park. The interior pages feature photos and short biographies of 18 members of the Chicago Bears including George Halas, Paddy Driscoll, Ed Healey, Laurie Walquist, Dutch Sternmann and Link Lymann. The interior lineup includes Ernie Nevers for the Eskimos. The Eskimos entered this game with not only a record of 4-0-1, but also the distinction of not having been scored upon all season. The Bears ended both streaks in this game, defeating the Eskimos by a scored of 24-6 in front of 12,000 joyous fans. The program (7-1/4" x 10-1/4") is in Excellent condition overall with some minor rippling, however, it is missing the Bears section of the interior scorecard.
