This incredibly detailed, copper toned replica was cast in the distinguished fist of Muhammad Ali. One of only a few fist castings ever allowed by the famously charismatic legend, this piece was sculpted by the champ's friend, Rodney Brown. Mounted onto a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" x 2-3/8", thick iron block, the right hand of the great fighter makes a fist, as the descriptive plaque reads, "'Fist of Muhammed (sic) Ali' After Winning 3 World Heavyweight Championships - Cast By His Friend Rodney Hilton Brown - New York City 1979." The splendid piece weighs a respectable 4 lbs., 2 oz., and the underside of the impressive relic is covered in felt lining. The clenched hand seems almost human, as each wrinkle, bone and fingernail has been expertly delineated, projecting an immensely realistic appearance. No detail is left unattended in this carefully crafted semblance of the right hand that helped the incomparable Ali dominate the sweet science. Truly, an exceptional find for any boxing fan!
