Graded 40 VG 3 by SGC. In 1914, Frank Baker led the League in home runs for the fourth straight year. The back of the offered card even refers to him as "Home Run Baker," a title that he earned in the 1911 World Series. This card captures the Hall of Famer in an attractive follow-through batting pose. It has no surface faults and still retains fairly square corners. Texas Tommy's are notoriously off-centered with this example not being an exception. If not for the centering it would grade minimally Excellent condition. Nevertheless, this is still a very clean example that would certainly make a significant addition to any advanced collection. Very Good condition.
