Graded Mint 9 by Global Authentication. Here's a justifiably exalted condition rarity, almost never seen at this level of preservation! An extraordinarily popular figure during the mid-1950's, the Dodgers' Hall of Fame outfielder displays a self-assured expression, along with his oft-repeated acceptance of post-homer congratulations, on the obverse of this essentially flawless piece. Although 1956 Topps is not noted as a "high-gloss" production, the offered exemplar is demonstrably radiant in its character and displays a satisfying sheen. Corners, centering and back-print easily uphold their lofty grading level's standard. Mint condition.
