One of the limited number of large format 22" x 28" posters in the "Bill Graham Presents" series produced in the late 1960's and early 1970's. This poster is a triptych advertising a series of concerts which took place over the course of the week of August 13-25, 1968 at The Fillmore West. What a line-up! Featured acts include: The Who, The Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Creedence Clearwater Revival, James Cotton, Albert Collins and It's a Beautiful Day, among others. Designated as "BG-133-OP-1" (indicates 1st printing), in Eric King's Guide. Fantastic, skull and scarab-themed psychedelic artwork, created by the unusual pairing of Rick Griffin and Alton Kelley, two of the seminal artists of the period. Poster is in Excellent-Mint condition.
