Graded MINT 9 by PSA with none graded higher; just nine examples have been awarded the unqualified tier held by this collectible. Pee Wee Reese was the heart and soul of the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1940 through the end of the team's East Coast operation in 1957, and this "blazer" of a 1956 Topps card is a magnificent commemorative of the Hall of Fame shortstop. Its subject's splendidly rendered likenesses shine through the sublime depths of clear, original gloss, and they're framed by bright, snow white borders. This is, in every respect, a card that has maintained outstanding qualities of refinement and preservation. Mint condition.
