Hubba hubba! Only someone like Mae West could make a nonsmoker reconsider. Hmmmm ... maybe that's why Old Gold Gold Cigarettes prominently featured the curvacious Miss West in this approximately 30-1/2" x 52-1/2" stand-up advertisement in the 1930's. Playing on her famous line ("Why don't you come up sometime and see me?") from the 1933 release She Done Him Wrong, this standee boasts, "When you come up, you'll find Old Golds." This vintage advertisement presents at the overall VG/EX plateau with peripheral wear, light creasing throughout and scattered paper loss along the bottom border of the image. The reverse shows evidence of past exposure to moisture, which does not impact the central image.
