Through longevity, Nolan Ryan was able to produce 94 career hits. That fact is, of course, obscured by the flamethrower's 324 wins and Major League-best 5,714 career strikeouts. Offered here is an autographed Louisville Slugger "M110" signature model bat with which Ryan collected a few of those safeties. This 34", 29-1/2-oz. white ash weapon hails from the 1986-1989 labeling period—and can be narrowed to the first three years of that span, when Ryan had occasion to swing the bat in the Senior Circuit. Ryan's black Sharpie signature shows "10" strength, standing prominently between the centerbrand and barrel stampings. The uncracked item shows heavy use, with ball, cleat and deeply embedded stitch marks throughout, as well as a black marker notation of the Hall of Famer's number "34" on the knob. Accompanying is an LOA signed by Ryan's former teammate (1986) and National League opponent Frank DiPino, who personally obtained the bat from Ryan. Graded A-8 by MEARS. LOAs from Dave Bushing & Troy Kinunen/MEARS, Steve Grad & John Taube/PSA DNA and James Spence Authentication.
