1950s "Ted's Creamy Root Beer" Cardboard Counter Sign

This colorful cardboard sign pictures baseball great Ted Williams endorsing his namesake "Ted's Creamy Root Beer." Soft drink signs, such as this one, are among the most recognizable of all 1950s-era advertising pieces. This fabulous design appears on an approximately 14-7/8" x 9-7/8" piece of thick cardboard that has retained its original easel (an accessory that was attached to the reverse at the factory to facilitate easy counter display) and appears never to have been used. The graphics are nicely preserved with inevitable wear to the corners and periphery, with understandable imperfections apparent in the surface gloss. About EX to EX/MT condition.
