In introducing this baseball, we report that it bears a sweet spot signing, "Babe Ruth," which is convincing to the lay eye, but it's been professionally adjudged a "clubhouse" penning. That confessed, we urge the reader to savor the profound merits that it otherwise projects. The ball is an OAL (Ban Johnson) example. With a little coaxing, we discern that an inscription, appearing on the north panel, declares "World Series Yankees 1923 Buster and Billy Putnam," and naturally, we interpret that this ball was likely a captured souvenir from that major event—the first World Series hosted in the brand new Yankee Stadium. Continuing, the south panel holds the autograph of Yankee coach Charlie O'Leary (while the west panel has a writing that defies identity). Finally, and most gloriously, the east panel projects an outstanding Miller Huggins autograph. Signed "M. Huggins," it is clean and boldly legible—about "8" in quality. Particularly appealing is that this Huggins autograph will display as a single. LOA from Steve Grad/PSA DNA.
