The extremely scarce, late-1950s Paladin cards were distributed just one-at-a-time in boxes of Rinso Soap Powder. Today, their elusiveness is legendary in the non-sports hobby community, and respectably well-preserved examples are highly prized. The 24-item complete set here offered features clean black-and-white photo fronts and boldly printed "Have Gun - Will Travel" Paladin business-card designs on the backs. Within this extraordinary presentation of the issue, the cards' original manner of distribution is addressed through the most vivid and accurate means imaginable: a full, unopened box of "Rinso Blue" detergent—with delightful graphics on the top, front and bottom panels announcing the presence of a Paladin Trading Card inside—accompanies. The 6" x 8-1/2" x 2-1/8" sealed container carries minimal signs of shelf wear and exhibits at least EX display quality. Here's a particularly exciting non-sports offering that contains one of the few complete sets of Paladin cards known to exist—and no one has the box! Cards grade 46% EX to EX/MT, 54% VG to VG/EX (most VG/EX) with one lesser.
