Home to Ted Williams' managerial exploits, Nolan Ryan's record seventh career no-hitter, and a coming of age to players like Burroughs, Parrish and Palmeiro, Arlington Stadium was the site for many a memorable night (extreme heat prompted the almost-exclusive scheduling of night games). Here offered is a grandstand chair used at the Lone Star venue during its 22-year run (1972-1993). Measuring 20-3/4"-wide x 29-1/2"-tall, the stadium accessory is comprised of a red-hued plastic back rest and folding seat—both of which are firmly situated within a metal frame with armrests. The backrest—with the red coloring having faded—is home to a metal (seat number) "2" identifier, a plaque detailing the stadium's history, and a metal plate bearing a season ticket holder's name. Expected signs of use.
