World Champions! In 1935, interrupting the glory days of the Yankees dynasty, the Detroit Tigers emerged as baseball's best. Losing in the Series the year before to the "Gashouse Gang" Cardinals, Detroit was paced in 1935 by Hank Greenberg's 170 RBI—and Mickey Cochrane's and Goose Goslin's veteran leadership—all the way to the Fall Classic. Once there, the team bested the Chicago Cubs, 4 games to 2, to take home Detroit's first World Championship. The offered 3/4"-diameter Press Pin souvenir of the memorable series features an intact, threaded post (with original nut), nearly perfect enamel, and virtually no tarnishing. Near Mint condition.
