Offered is a phenomenally well-kept, 1935 Mills model golf ball vendor. This 25-cent-to-play piece of machinery closely resembles the popular Mills brand Hi Top production that relieved so many slot jockeys of their change. Sitting atop a cherry regal console, the machine adds a quality of enjoyment to the otherwise mundane experience of purchasing golf balls. This clubhouse behemoth—a physical quality we really cannot understate—measures 60" x 20" x 13" and features vibrant colors and a well-polished finish, which appears to have benefited from professional restoration. The electrical components are in working order and the unit's moving parts are purely mechanical in design and function. The ball shoot has been refashioned using PVC piping, and remains fully functional. Accompanying the themed ball distributor are three keys, one of which gains access to the back panel, and two that open the cabinet doors to the lower compartment. Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, the cost of shipping may be substantial.
