Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA/DNA. Autographs Grade 8. Ball Grade 8. After 10 successive winning seasons (the longest such run in franchise history), the 1957 Cleveland Indians faltered to a 76-77 mark. While one outcome made the difference between extending their winning ways or not, the near-.500 showing was only good for sixth place in the power-balanced Junior Circuit. With the likes of Rocky Colavito, Vic Wertz and rookie Roger Maris providing the bulk of the team's 140 round-trippers, the Tribe finished fourth in the league in that category. Here offered is a clean white OAL (Harridge) sphere signed by 30 members of that year's Indians squad. With legible stampings and an unblemished surface, the medium is home to blue ink pennings that includes: Alexander, Altobelli, Avila, Carrasquel, Colavito, Daley, Farrell (Mgr), Garcia, Harder (coach), Hegan, Kress (coach), Lemon, Maris, McLish, Mossi, Naragon, Narleski, Nixon, Pitula, Raines, Score, Smith, Stanky (coach), Strickland, Tomanek, Wertz, Williams, Woodling and Wynn, plus one illegible scripting. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/PSA DNA and LOA from James Spence Authentication.
