1958 Topps #487 Mickey Mantle All-Star - PSA NM-MT 8

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Although Mickey Mantle's '58 All-Star card is not especially difficult to obtain, it must be noted that, in this commendable state of preservation, the item constitutes a legitimate challenge. Coarse card stock and general lapses in quality control seem to work together to frustrate a 1958 Topps card's quest for a high grade. This example, having conquered the usual obstacles, is notably satisfying in appearance, and extremely faint touches to the corners pose no distraction. Here's an extremely worthy specimen of Mantle's classic "Sport Magazine '58-All-Star" card, produced at the height of his on-field glory, in Near Mint to Mint condition.
