Presented is a breathtakingly attractive uncut pane of cards featuring subjects from the 1955 Topps All-American football issue. This extraordinarily rare and colorful panel delivers the character of the popular collegiate production in a form that's almost never seen in the hobby: reputedly, just one other, comparable piece has been confirmed in the industry. The sheet is fully printed on both front and back, but the designs are somewhat less glossy-looking than cards taken from packs. The 18-5/8" x 26-1/4" survivor reflects evidence of handling (including edge tears and surface faults) that fail to negate its remarkable aesthetic, and its overall manner of display approximates EX quality. Highlights among the sheet's 50-card content—presented in a 5-card-by-10-card arrangement—include: Hickman, Grange, Graham, Nevers, Dudley, Rockne, Four Horsemen (tear), White, Baugh, Hein, Hutson, Henry (creases), Parker and Stagg (tear). This phenomenal item isn't for the hobbyist motivated by grading potential (since the condition of individual cards would make it unrewarding to separate them), but the holistic visual appeal of this pane is absolutely unparalleled!
