This pair of regionally distributed rarities includes: 1) JFK "Nebraskans" Black-and-White Portrait Pinback - This 1"-diameter presidential campaign pin was distributed only to Kennedy's Nebraska contingency. "Nebraskans for Kennedy" in red lettering occupies the circular border. The pin is perfectly centered, boasting a glistening NM/MT surface. 2) JFK "Nebraskans" Blue-Tint Portrait Pinback - This 1"-diameter pinback's red legend proclaims, "Nebraskans for Kennedy," against a white-colored border surrounding the candidate's photo. The pin is well-centered and exhibits crisp MT condition. These are among the key Kennedy rarities of the 1960 election, largely because Nebraska, by percentage, cast the strongest vote against Kennedy of all the 50 states. Comparatively, then, the "Nebraskans for Kennedy" were a rather small group of supporters, whose pin production needs were, at best, minimal.
