Each card has been graded by SGC. Here are two tempting entries from the E90-2 American Caramel series of 1910, a release devoted in its entirety to the 1909 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates. (The monumental talent of the Pirates left little chance for their opponents on the route to the pennant in 1909, and the powerful squad tamed the Tigers in the World Series. American Caramel was Pennsylvania-based, so it was appropriate that the company produce a small set to commemorate its homegrown team.) Both of these depictions boast colorful portrait likenesses, and their backs display strong renditions of the issue's "Base Ball Caramels" crossed-bats-with-logo design. Includes: Graded SGC 40 VG 3: 1 card, Ham Hyatt; SGC 20 FR 1.5: 1 card, Owen Wilson. Hyatt's card concedes a speck of surface paper loss in the caption area, and a diagonal crease at the top aspect of Wilson's barely disrupts the collectible's image.
