In an alluring visual tribute to the Miracle Mets, there was later fashioned this article proclaiming that jubilant victory of 1969. On one side, the gold heirloom shows, "WORLD CHAMPIONS" flanked by two raised baseball motifs—one displays the Mets logo, and the other serves as the setting for a quartet of shimmering diamonds. The opposing side reveals an inscribed message that reads, "To CAROL - From Bill Shea," which itself is flanked by a "National League Champions" emblem and a detailed representation of a Mets ballcap and what appears to be a base pad. Very negligible traces of wear are confined to the edges.
