An eclectic array of 59 different pinbacked items is presented. Spanning the greater part of the 20th Century in origin, this gallery includes vintage promotional rarities as well as sought-after mementos of relatively modern players. Highlights among the older relics include 1922-23 Kolbs Mothers’ Bread Chief Bender and Al Schacht pins, a 1910 Morton's "Buster Brown Bread" Tigers Pin, a jumbo, 2-1/4”-diameter Philadelphia regional beer advertising pin featuring the 1910 Phillies’ and Athletics’ schedules, and various promo pieces for the Cubs, Indians, Reds, Cardinals, Pirates and other squads. Standout individual player commemoratives from the 1950s through the 1970s include a Willie Mays Stadium Pin and souvenirs picturing Hank Aaron (2: 2-1/4” Hank Aaron Night 500HR w/paper card and 3-3/8”-diameter jumbo), Mays (3-3/8”, “Say Hey,” The News) and Mickey Mantle (2: 3” Lee Jeans and 3-7/8” A Day To Remember/Yankee Stadium), plus 1969 Sunoco Cubs/Brewers pins (10 diff.) and 1969 Kelly’s Potato Chips pins (6 diff. w/Aparicio, Marichal, B. Williams and Yastrzemski). Condition is generally EX or finer, with some of the older items conceding higher levels of wear.
