Each card has been graded or assessed by PSA. Presented is a 20-card 1910s American Caramel Co. E49 "Wild West Caramels" complete set. With a 2.63 GPA, this set captures the "#2 Current Finest" slot on the PSA Set Registry! Professional athletes were not the only "players" who made their way onto trading cards during this period. As the United States settled the West, key figures of that fascinating region were also a popular theme among young candy consumers. Examples from these early non-sports releases are generally found in less-than-presentable condition and this set has an above average degree of preservation. The set includes: Graded Cards - Graded PSA EX 5: 2 cards w/California Joe and Rocky Bear; PSA VG-EX+ 4.5: 1 card, Rushing Bear; PSA VG-EX 4: 2 cards w/David Crockett and Left Hand Bear; PSA VG 3: 2 cards w/Always Riding and Black Swan; PSA GD+ 2.5: 3 cards w/Black Bear, Pawnee Bill and Yellow Hair; PSA GD 2: 5 cards w/Buffalo Bill, Chief Lone Wolf, John M. Burke, Kit Carson and Sitting Bull; PSA PR 1: 4 cards w/Daniel Boone, General Custer, Jim Bridger and Texas Jack; Ungraded Cards - 1 card, Shot in the Eye (presents GD, but PSA rejected it due to being factory miscut. A difficult set to complete in any condition!
