Brook Steppe played for five different franchises during his five-year NBA career, and this jersey/trunks combo represents his rookie campaign in Kansas City. The knit home jersey has a v-neck collar, arm yokes, and side panels, all with the same 3-color/5-stripe design. All of the identifiers (except the NOB) are screened-on in two color royal blue and red, and the plated NOB (single color royal appliqué) resides underneath the back number 14, an unorthodox placement used by the Kings for more than a decade during the ‘70s and early ‘80s. A Wilson label ("46") with a cloth customization flap is straight-stitched to the lower left front tail. The trunks feature the same color/stripe pattern as the jersey. A Wilson size "38" label is sewn into the waistband with a flap customization tag reading “1 X Rise/1 X Ins.” While Steppe’s #14 is markered onto the label, a twill swatch with a #13 chain link affixing is also present, suggesting the trunks were originally made for Leon Douglas. The overall wear is light-medium. LOA from Legendary Auctions.
