A collection of nine fully executed Uniform Players Contracts for leading players on the Los Angeles Dodgers dating from the team's first few years in Los Angeles. Five are from 1958, the Dodgers first year out West and include: Pee Wee Reese (last playing year, HOF), Roger Craig, Clem Labine, Ed Roebuck and Charlie Neal. Four are from 1959, the year of the team's first World Championship on the West Coast, and include the following: Duke Snider (HOF), Carl Erskine, Clem Labine and Jim Baxes. All, with the exception of Baxes, were with the club in Flatbush and members of the famed "Boys of Summer" Dodgers. Each contract is signed by both the player and team president Buzzie Bavasi, with all of the signatures grading 10/10. All nine contracts are in Near Mint condition. An extraordinary collection of important contracts from this storied franchise. LOA from Mike Gutierrez/MastroNet.
