During his 21-year career as a second baseman (1896--1916), mostly with the Cleveland Indians, he posted a lifetime batting average of .339. In 1901, he batted .422, highest ever in a season in the American League. He was elected to baseball's Hall of Fame in 1937. The only other cards of him I've seen signed are the 1933 Goudeys. Card is G/VG. A lot of forged signed cards of him out there. Jeff got this one in person at the Hall of Fame! Near mint blue fountain pen signature.
